The Titan S trim is the base model trim available. Standard features include 18-inch styled steel wheels, keyless entry with push button ignition, many advanced driver assist features, Sirius XM satellite radio, lockable tailgate with dampened assist, LED cargo bed lights, active grille shutter, and a rearview camera. An 8-inch color display infotainment system allows for Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, Bluetooth hands-free as well as steering-wheel-mounted audio controls. The SV trim adds to these standard features with chrome door handles, power-remote heated chrome exterior mirrors with turn-signal indicators, front tow hooks on 4X4 models, 18-inch alloy wheels, Nissan Connect Service and Intelligent Cruise Control. The S and SV trim are available for both cab styles.
The Titan Crew Cab offers additional trim levels with the SL, Pro-4X and Platinum Reserve, while the 4X4 King Cab also offers the Pro-4X trim. The Pro-4X trim includes all the features of the SV, adding all-terrain off-road tires, Bilstein off-road performance shocks, an electronic locking rear differential, hill descent control and a front skid plate. The SL trim also adds to the SV features with remote engine start, 20-inch chrome wheels, leather-appointed seats, heated front seats, a 9-inch infotainment touchscreen, an Intelligent Around View Camera, a bed-mounted channel system with four tie-down cleats, a power sliding rear window, a Class IV tow hitch receiver and a 12-speaker Fender audio system. The top-of-the-line Platinum Reserve trim offers additional luxury to the truck with premium leather seats, heated rear seats and heated/cooled front seats, 20-inch machined wheels, chrome exterior trim, a leather gear shift knob, a leather and genuine wood steering wheel and genuine wood interior accents.
Nissan offers various optional packages for the Titan including a Convenience Package, Utility Package, a Towing Package and more. This allows buyers to choose between a large variety of interior comfort, exterior style and performance options to fit their needs.
The Titan rides on a sturdy boxed-ladder frame borrowed from Nissan's line of commercial vans. Front suspension is courtesy of reinforced double-wishbones and a stabilizer bar, while the rear features a multi-leaf setup. Brakes are 14.2-inch vented discs in front and 14.4-vented discs in the rear, which provide plenty of stopping power for the big Nissan. Towing is made easy in the 2021 Titan with the Crew Cab tow capacity up to 9,350 pounds and King Cab tow capacity up to 9,400 pounds. Features such as the tow-haul mode, rear-view monitor, available remote brake light check, available brake controller and standard trailer sway control make towing an ease for drivers.
Safety in the big truck has not been overlooked, and standard on all Titans are anti-lock brakes, stability and traction control, and front airbags and roof-mounted curtain airbags for the front and rear.
