If the rating allowed for half stars I would have given a 4 1/2, but all in all my experience with with this dealership was pretty good so I gave 5 stars primarily because my salesman, Nick Turri was outstanding. I live 684 miles away in NE Ohio. Been searching for a 2016-2018 Malibu for about a year and found a 2018 with 16K miles at Hudson Nissan of Summerville through the Carfax site that seemed to meet all my criteria (color, trim, options, wheels, etc.). I submitted a request to be contacted around midnight and got a call from Nick by 10:00am the next morning. Being so far away and not able to see the car in person before committing to a trip there, over the course of 2 weeks I drilled Nick with a ton of questions and requests and he came through on every one, including that he personally look over the whole car, inside and out, and send me a close up of any flaws he found. I had also found an almost identical 2018 in New Jersey, (only 350 miles away) that had only 4200 miles and was listed at $1000 less. But I did not receive the courtesy and attention from that salesman as I did from Nick. And Nick also came across as trustworthy, while the other guy did not. (He even sent a selfie video to introduce himself and give me a visual to go along with the voice.) As a result Nick got the nod, I put down a deposit, then caught a $100 flight to Charleston to drive it home. Nick picked me up at the airport at 10:10 for the 20 minute ride to Summerville. And here is the only part that would have taken away from the 5 star rating...Facing an 11 hour drive home and wanting to get as far as possible before dark, I really hoped to be on the road by 1:00, thinking that 2 1/2 hours would be enough for a quick test drive and then all the paperwork. But with one little delay after another (car was still in the detail shop; paperwork had to be reprinted and started over - twice - because my name was not in the right form; had to sit with the F&I Manager while he tried to sell me an extended warranty, and generally a lot a waiting time between each step) as well as the extra large amount of paperwork since two states were involved, I did not leave until 2:22pm, a full 4 hours and 22 minutes after landing. That extra 1:22 beyond my hoped for 1:00 departure put me In Charlotte NC in the thick of HORRIFIC bumper to bumper crawling rush hour traffic that I'm sure would not have been there an hour earlier. It actually got dark there in that Charlotte traffic jam, instead of somewhere in Virginia as I had hoped. I had read some negative reviews of the dealership, all of which were focused on the bottom line ending up way way higher than the advertised price. To that I would caution that there are a number of factors that can drive that increase and you should be sure to push your salesman to disclose them all up front before you make that deposit, to avoid the shock when you're signing the paperwork. I did, and Nick was very upfront in detailing all the additional fees and charges. To end on a positive note, the car was everything that Nick and the dealership had presented it to be. He filled the tank on our test drive so I would only have to stop for gas once on the long drive home and even had applied a protective body armor that we had discussed. The dealership also took care of all the title and registration work for Ohio so I had nothing to do when I got home. Over all, based on my experience, I highly recommend this dealership, and in particular my salesman Nick Turri!
Jay Howard helped us purchase a 2024 pathfinder and it was an incredible experience! He listened to what we were looking for and helped put us in exactly the right car. Jay was professional, personable, and very knowledgeable without being pushy. He and the team made it a fabulous and easy experience and we will absolutely be repeat customers when we need another vehicle. This is the second car we have purchased at Hudson and we highly recommend them above any dealership we have dealt with. They’re the best!

He is friendly, make you laugh and you feel comfortable with him. He did whatever he had to do for me to trade in my frontier truck and get my 2020 Nissan Altima. He took good care of me. He was knowledgeable of the car I bought. He made sure I was happy with the car I bought. He made sure my car was detailed before I left the dealership. He showed me features of the car. The manager and finance man were friendly and made me feel comfortable. The finance man went well beyond his duty to get my payments to where I can afford to make them.

When I arrived at the dealership, I requested a laid back yet professional sales individual. I was quickly greeted warmly by Corry! I was treated respectfully he was mindful of my time. Corry also gave my mother assistance in driving her home so I could drive the new vehicle home. The dealership was clean and the people that worked there were professional and pleasant!
