2021 Nissan Rogue

The subcompact or crossover SUV segment seems to be a highly competitive one now, with the likes of the Nissan Rogue, Chevrolet Equinox, Kia Sportage, and Hyundai Tucson. Although Nissan loses out in the engine department in terms of only one option, it makes up in the form of space and cutting edge interior design. Here’s a look at everything that the 2021 Nissan Rogue offers.

Exterior Appearance:

Exterior design is certainly one of the standout elements of the 2021 Nissan Rogue as a package. The front end looks more squared off than earlier and the LED lighting signatures that have been much liked by customers are available. Running lights are now placed above the headlights, which look good in total.

The design might not be showcasing an out-of-the-world concept, but it is simple enough and user-friendly. However, it does look sharper than the outgoing model and will certainly turn heads on closer looks.

Available Trims:

Customers can choose from four trims here-, S, SV, Platinum, and SL. Those with bigger budgets may want to look at the Platinum trim. This gets a variety of new features like a 12.3 inch digital gauge cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay, and quilted leather upholstery.

Color options on the new Rogue include the following:

  • Monarch Orange Metallic
  • Magnetic Black Pearl
  • Pearl White Tricoat
  • Scarlet Ember Tint coat
  • Gun Metallic
  • Midnight Pine
  • Caspian Blue Metallic
  • Brilliant Silver Metallic

Dual tone color options are also on offer, which include black roofs.

Power and Performance:

At the heart of the 2021 Nissan Rogue is one 2.5 liter powertrain, capable of generating 181 hp of maximum power and 181 lbs.-ft of torque. This engine has been mated to the classical Nissan X-Tronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). Drivers will love the fact that the engine does not lose power while changing gears and is it quick to move forward from rest. The transmission in the 2021 Rogue has been retuned, the engine is more powerful, and the vehicle is lighter as compared to its outgoing version.

The 2021 Nissan Rogue is available with FWD (Front Wheel Drive), and also offers AWD (All Wheel Drive) as a convenient option. Ride and handling has also been greatly improved here. Customers will be delighted to get beautiful throttle responses and high fuel efficiency from this subcompact SUV.

Interior Appearance:

Quality of the interiors in the 2021 Nissan Rogue is at an entirely new level, especially when compared to the previous version. Fit and finish are of the highest order, which can also be seen in the base variant.  The new Platinum variant also gets a special semi-annular leather stitching.

Safety Features:

One cannot imagine a high quality car in today’s times without cutting edge safety features. Japanese auto makers are already known for their safety standards, and the 2021 Nissan Rogue comes with Nissan’s high quality ProPilot Assist program.

Features available through ProPilot Assist include:

  • Lane Departure Mitigation
  • Adaptive Cruise Control
  • High Beam Assist
  • Rear Cross Traffic Alert
  • Blind Spot Warning
  • Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection
  • Rear Automatic Braking

Nissan Pro Pilot Assist has the technology to tell the driver about highway conditions ahead, enabling passengers to be better prepared for the situation ahead.
